Ever since her childhood, which Ellie spent near Lake Constance, she felt a deep connection to the world of horses. After graduating from high school, she moved abroad, where a year spent at a riding stable in Ireland allowed her to gain experience in all aspects of equestrian sports.

Following this, she studied journalism at the Free University of Berlin, then spent two years working in the tourism industry as a flight attendant. Most recently, she was employed in the office of the riding stable at Berlin's Olympic Stadium.

From there, in 2017, she moved from the capital to Pfungstadt to work for Dietmar Gugler, and later relocated with him to Ising. At Gugler Sport Horses, Ellie primarily handles office administration alongside her daily work with the horses for sale.
