Maria Victoria Perez Maldonado

Maria Victoria Perez Maldonado was born in 1991 in San Juan (Puerto Rico).
She began her riding career at the tender age of 4 years old.

In 2005 Maria Victoria trained for the first time with Dietmar Gugler. This training continued until 2009, when she embarked on a successful riding career, performing at both international and national tournaments. 

In 2010 she participated in the Central American & Caribbean Games with one of Dietmar Gugler’s horses,  ‚Louis K2’  and awarded a Team Bronze.

From 2010 til 2014, she studied History at Fairfield University in Connecticut (USA)
After her studies in 2014, she continued her training with Gugler Sport Horses in Pfungstadt, preparing for the 2015 Pan-American Games.

At the Pan-American Games in Toronto 2015, she actually qualified for the Grand Prix in the individual competition.

Thereafter, she decided to extend her training course, with the goal of qualifying for the 2018 Central American & Caribbean.
